Our Story
Our founder, Dr. Cheryl Yeo, discovered the power of nutrition at the young age of 14. Her grandmother had been diagnosed with diabetes, and while doctors prescribed medication to treat her symptoms, Dr. Cheryl sought out natural ways to support her grandmother’s healing. She began making her grandmother plant-based concoctions from scratch to help ease her symptoms. And it did.
As her grandmother’s health improved, Dr. Cheryl realized the power of healing the body naturally, from within. This powerful experience in her personal life inspired her to pursue a Ph.D. in food science and nutrition and spent over 10 years researching metabolic medicine and functional food therapy.
More recently, her father, in his 70s, suffered from severe gastritis, inflammation, and stomach ulcers caused by the pathogen H. pylori. When antibiotic therapy was ruled out as an option, and all other treatments proved futile, Dr. Cheryl turned to what had worked for her in the past – targeted nutritional therapy.
By taking a carefully formulated combination of supplements made with all-natural ingredients, including Vicopyl® and Fiber+++, her father’s symptoms eased. In March 2025, he tested negative for all pathogens – a personal victory and a celebratory moment for Dr. Cheryl as a true testament to the power of nutritional therapy.
Her years of conducting research in the medical field, combined with her personal experiences, helped Dr. Cheryl to see the potential of nutritional therapy in bringing hope and healing to people. In 2018, she founded iAM Health as a way to offer natural, long-term solutions to people looking for a gentler way to care for their bodies from within.
