Study 1
Improving Skin Hydration & Barrier Function
Objective
To test whether Latilactobacillus sakei Probio65® (live and non-viable forms) improves skin hydration.
Methodology
90 children/adolescents with mild to moderate eczema received live Probio65®, dead Probio65®, or placebo for 12 weeks. Skin hydration and sebum measured at weeks 0, 6, and 12.
Results
Both live and non-viable forms significantly improved hydration and sebum balance vs. placebo.
Conclusion
Vicosa™ improves skin barrier function, supporting dry or sensitive skin.

Study 2
Reducing Atopic Dermatitis (Eczema) Symptoms
Objective
To evaluate whether Probio65® supplementation reduces eczema severity.
Methodology
88 children with AEDS (Atopic Eczema-Dermatitis Syndrome) received Probio65® or placebo for 12 weeks. Eczema tracked using SCORAD (a clinical scoring system for eczema severity).
Results
Significant SCORAD improvements in the probiotic group. More children reached ≥30% or ≥50% improvement. Reduced reliance on corticosteroid creams.
Conclusion
Vicosa® reduces eczema severity and the need for steroids.

Supporting Respiratory & Sinus Health
Objective
To test if Probio65® protects against sinus infection.
Methodology
In mice with depleted sinus microbiota, Probio65® was co-administered with the pathogen C. tuberculostearicum.
Results
Probio65® prevented sinus damage and lowered pathogen levels.
Conclusion
Vicosa® supports sinus health by reducing harmful bacteria and inflammation.
